Well I guess it's time for a quick update.  Racing has been a little rough to say the least.  Quite honestly if it wasn't for my son Adam looking to get a championship and us still leading the points, which if we both won the championships it would be the 1st time ever for a son and father to win the Championship in the same year.  I probably would be running different tracks like Russ Hershey is doing and having fun, instead of being involved in the Larry/Monadnock Bull with rules and changes every 5 min's.  Maybe some day he will figure out how to keep Competors instead of chasing them all away.  I would also like to thank all who are running me clean, as for the rest of you.....When I am out of the points lead, like you want then I guess it is all fair in love and war.  If you know what I mean!  Well that's all for now

Time for another update.  We have raced 2 times since I last wrote.  In the first race we finished 2nd to Jeff Z.  It was a very unpredictable race with leaders getting loose and people spinning out.  The track was covered with speedy dry and rear-end grease as well as oil from people breaking, so it was survival of the fittest which made it a good 2nd place finish.  Now for last week...looks like we are stuck on 2nd place finishes, which I would never complain about a 2nd place and a car in one piece is a great thing.  My hats off to Fran Colson for winning!  It was good to see him back in victory lane.  Well we are all in the same boat as far as the gas prices and all, so its Great to see everyone making an effort to go racing as well as the track trying different things to ease the pain a little.  Byron Baker showed up with his new car and said he had ignition problems, tough way to end the night but I will tell you this I don't know how long it took them to build that car but what a great looking ride. I also want to congratulate my son for taking over 1st place in the points, he is doing very well this season with a second and third place finish in the last 2 weeks.  Keep up the good work 97 motorsports!

Well I guess it's about time I give everyone an update.  Sorry it took so long, we have been VERY busy.  Here it goes.... We started the season off with a win at Monadnock, my son in the 97 Late Model also won which made it a very Gray night at Monadnock.

Our second race, we finished 3rd.  Very respectable finish, it was our used tire night...due to the rule.

Well we are now getting our Late Model ready to run Wiscasset Speedway in Maine on this Sunday (May 25th).  Its a great payout, $10,000 to win, it will be our first time ever visiting this track.  Wish us luck.

On Saturday we will be at Monadnock with our very fast Prostock, thanks to my hard working team lead by Crew chief Gary Moore, Leon Chartier, Walter Pauchalski, Alan Barthelette, Ron Rivet, Ryan Rivet, & Jason. Also Heather Roy for all she does with sponsorship.

Thanks for checking in, that's all for now.

Well here goes with another update.  We all went to the Monadnock Banquet, had a great time, talked with a lot of friends and Competors.  Larry must have yelled how last year the food wasn't that good because it was really good this year.  We collected our 2nd place plaque and also our 1st place plaque for the Budweiser Triple Crown.  Not sure if that was for racing or the Bud's we drank!  So those plaques to go along with our New Hampshire State Championship was pretty cool.  My son Adam also got a nice award for finishing fourth in the Late Models.  He is a Heck of a driver.  Good luck to him and his team for the "08" season.

Well back to our car, we in the process right now of getting the outlaw pro lettered for the Car Show at The Big E on Feb 29th threw March 2nd.

I want to pay special thanks to all our sponsors for returning for the "08" season!  without them to help pay the bills as well as my awesome crew, we couldn't remain racing, and that is just very important to me!  And here are some of the sponsors that im talking about...  Meadow's Motor Car, Leon's auto repair, Hawley's repair, Hi Tech transmission, Mark O'goley, Ricks Auto Body, Sign Techniques, Perry's Auto Parts, Bank A Car American Auto Auction, Pizza Shoppe, Maybury associates, Graziano Gardens, Barrco Automotive, Colors unlimited, Foxmeadow Farm........

Well come visit the car at the Car Show.  See you Very soon

Just a quick update to what we have been doing.  The Monadnock car is almost done, we just got the body back from Ricks Auto Body and as always it looks great!  We have been working on the other car (that was new last year) and with that car we are going to select some long distance money races to just go have fun at and not get caught up in a points battle.  As we all know my crew and wife's/girlfriends all sacrifice a lot of time to go racing so it is very important to have fun doing it.  Well it's off to the Monadnock Banquet this weekend!  That's all for now.
